The event was a milestone in the 15-month Testimonial Year for Bakkies Botha and Victor Matfield.
The Blood Brothers Testimonial is a unique opportunity to acknowledge and pay tribute to these two iconic Springbok rugby stars and has included a host of high profile events with a percentage of profits being donated to the Children’s Hospital Trust and the Walter Sisulu Paediatric Cardiac Foundation.
Members of the Children’s Hospital Trust team attended the farewell function and accepted a second donation of R175 000. 100% of this generous donation will be used to upgrade the Medical Ward B1 at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.
