A little TLC from Kanu and Mulderbosch Vineyards.
A team from Kanu and Mulderbosch Vineyards recently helped paint the classroom (walls, doors and ceiling) at the Theraputic Learning Centre (TLC).
TLC is a division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry which forms part of the Red Cross Children’s Hospital. The multi-disciplinary team comprises of child and adolescent psychiatrists and psychologists, clinical social workers, an occupational therapist, psychiatric nurses, a teacher, and trainees specialising in child and adolescent psychiatry. The core activities are clinical services, consultation, education, training and research. They are currently situated in very old buildings.
A great team building paint session was had by all. The TLC staff were delighted to have a bright and colourful classroom and the children also received cakes, bags of toys, toiletries and some garden swings for the children.
A special thanks to Freedom Overalls for the printing of T-shirts; Pointline for the T-shirts; Oranje Blanje Blou for the painting equipment and Cape Formwork Contractors Plant Hire / CFC for the scaffolding.
