Become a Guardian
Guardians are donors who give between R5000 and R100 000 per year towards a prioritised project in the Hospital. Guardians are assured that every cent donated is used in accordance with the greatest area of need at the Hospital. However, should you wish to have your funds allocated towards a specific cause, we are happy to honour that request. Either way, this dedicated group of supporters is changing the face of the Hospital and the lives of the patients it impacts. As a Guardian you enjoy special privileges and benefits.
The Guardians Annual Giving Programme's most recent fundraising project in 2009 raised the R2.2million needed to purchase a modern eye microscope, and fine surgical instruments ,for all open eye surgery in the new dedicated Ophthalmology Theatre in the Hopspital's new state-of-the-art Operating Theatre Complex.
Our Guardians have an enormous impact on the lives of many, many children. We thank you for all you have done thus far and no doubt will continue to do going forward!
