JOHNSON’S® Baby Campaign Raises Significant Funds
JOHNSON’S® Baby recently raised over R270 0000 for the Children’s Hospital Trust, the Fundraising Arm of the Red Cross
War Memorial Children’s Hospital.
Earlier this year JOHNSON’S® Baby ran a Cause Related Marketing fundraising campaign in South Africa as part of their 50th birthday celebration of the NO MORE TEARS® brandclaim. During March and April of this year, 50c from every NO MORE TEARS® product sold nationwide was donated to the Children’s Hospital Trust. 100% of this donation will go directly toward the upgrade of the D1 surgical ward and the purchase of critical medical equipment for the Hospital.
The Children’s Hospital Trust has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with JOHNSON’S® Baby spanning over 12 years and was honoured to share in this special milestone. JOHNSON’S® Baby continues to show their commitment to the wellbeing of not only healthy children, but also the 191 000 sick children who are treated at the only dedicated, specialist paediatric hospital in southern Africa each year.
In addition to this fundraising campaign JOHNSON’S® Baby felt the best people to share their NO MORE TEARS® birthday cake was the sick children at the Hospital. A party was held for the patients in the renal ward and parents, nurses and carers were all treated to delicious birthday cake, gifts, clowns, balloons and more! JOHNSON’S® Baby staff gave the patients their presents and spent some time chatting. The party made the children’s afternoon - as well as brightening the grown-up’s day.
