Nesh Mungroo is fabulous at 40!
As with most people, reaching the fabulous age of 40 left Johannesburg based Nesh Mungro doing a lot of introspection.
“I found myself looking at everything I had been blessed with - good health, a loving life companion in my husband, two healthy kids, a fairly successful career, and a generally happy fun filled life with friends and family always around - it occurred to me at some point that wanting anything more would just be greed”, said Mungro.
Mungro was adamant that this milestone was going to be a celebration and instead of graciously accepting unnecessary gifts from friend and family she asked guests attending her party to make a donation to the Children’s Hospital Trust in lieu of birthday gifts.
Mungro added that, “the gift transfer request together with your banking details from the website was included in the invitation and my guests, I believe, were only too happy to oblige.”
100% of the donation will go directly towards the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.
