SA Muslim Charitable Trust
The SA Muslim Charitable Trust was established in 2008 by the Old Mutual Al Baraka Equity Fund as a conduit for approved funding, assets, services and other resources to PBO's. Their R1million donation will be shared with R500 000 each going to the Trust's two priority projects listed above.
The building and equipping of the Burns Unit will cost R16 million and the Surgical Skills Training Centre is budgeted at R10.6million. Building has begun on the Surgical Skills Training Centre and the Burns Unit upgrade starts at the end of October.
