The Blood Brothers Testimonial Launch Dinner
The Launch dinner of the Blood Brothers Testimonial was held at Emperor’s Palace on Wednesday 27 October. This star-studded function was the kick off to the 15-month Testimonial Year for Bakkies Botha and Victor Matfield. The Blood Brothers Testimonial is a unique opportunity to acknowledge and pay tribute to these two iconic Springbok rugby stars and will include a host of high profile events with a percentage of profits being donated to the Children’s Hospital Trust and the Walter Sisulu Paediatric Cardiac Foundation. Members of the Children’s Hospital Trust team attended the launch function and accepted an initial donation of R100 000! 100% of this generous donation will be used to build a Surgical Skills Training Centre at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.
