The Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras visit

The team’s chosen charity for the season is the Children’s Hospital Trust, which fundraises for the Hospital and Paediatric Healthcare in the Western Cape. The objective of the visit is to bring excitement to the hospital wards, where patients spend weeks and sometimes months with their concerned parents at their bedsides. The players will interact with the little patients and hand out party boxes.

“Cricket is about giving young people opportunities and children are close to the hearts of the Cobras so the players are looking forward to spending some quality time at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital with the most deserving children you can find,” said Andre Odendaal, CEO of Western Cape Cricket (Pty) Ltd.
