Become A Guardian

(Guard – i - an.) Noun a person who guards, protects, or preserves (http://www.dictionary.com)

To the Children’s Hospital Trust, a Guardian is more than a donor. A Guardian is an individual, a trust or a foundation with a personal commitment towards the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital as a centre of paediatric excellence.

Guardians are donors who give between R5 000 and R100 000 per year towards a prioritised project in the Hospital – a dedicated group of supporters who are changing the face of the Hospital and the lives of the patients on whom it impacts. As a result Guardians are our special friends – they enjoy exclusive privileges and benefits, and are assured that every cent donated is used in accordance with the greatest area of need at the Hospital.

However, should a Guardian wish to have funds allocated towards a specific cause, we are happy to honour that request.
