Read Brylene Williams 's story.By joining the Guardians annual giving programme you will be part of an exclusive group of supporters who have a significant impact on the work at the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital.
By committing to donate between R5 000 and R50 000 per annum towards a tailored fundraising project, the Guardians have over the past few years done so much for the Hospital and the children that it serves.
In 2008 the Guardians aim to collectively raise over R2 million to purchase the highly specialised equipment - including an ophthalmic microscope and fine surgical instruments - that is needed for the dedicated Ophthalmology operating theatre. This specialised theatre will form part of the new Operating Theatre Complex, currently under construction at the Hospital.
