Burns Project

Children living outside Cape Town often travel long distances and visit multiple healthcare facilities before reaching Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. These delays can increase the risk of infection and prolong recovery. Many families from under-resourced communities must also cover their own transport costs due to a shortage of ambulances.
