Because of your generous donation, we were able to raise a total of R 9 019 326 towards the Victoria Hospital Project of which R 725 198,51 was intended as a Sadaqah Jariyah for loved ones. These funds will be used towards improving ventilation and increasing the space at the Paediatric Outpatient Department at Victoria Hospital.

  • Improved capacity, efficiency, and quality paediatric outpatient services
  • A safe, child-friendly environment with improved infection prevention control

  • A multidisciplinary treatment space for occupational speech and language therapy, audiology, and physiotherapy
  • Space to run weekly general parenting courses and to support collaboration with community organisations

The sacrifices our donors make to help the Red Cross Hospital community uplift paediatric facilities like Victoria Hospital, supporting dignified and beneficial healthcare for all children like little Yamihla make it very clear that there’s a place for them – a community – where they belong.

With your loyal and generous support, the Children’s Hospital Trust has invested over R1 billion towards improving child public health infrastructure, training specialist paediatric health workers, and supporting the establishment of child public healthcare projects in the Western Cape.
