We continue to build capacity in children’s nursing in Africa, supporting nurses, educators and leaders, as they strive for best outcomes for children through contextually appropriate evidenced-based practice and with a commitment to unapologetic African nursing excellence.

What do we do?

We sustain and build a programme of work focused around three pillars of activity:

How do we work?

  • We partner with nurses, educators, leaders and their institutions to enhance OUR shared knowledge and practice, focusing on the unique strengths and needs, and contexts of African health care environments.

  • We encourage inquiry and the application of evidence-based healthcare, contributing to the global body of nursing knowledge through original research, and to the design and development of innovative tools and solutions.

  • We steward our resources carefully, including grant funding, to maximise the impact of our work and ensure the sustainability of our programmes.
