Weekend Waiting List Initiative

The Weekend Waiting List Initiative adds Saturday surgeries to reduce waiting times for elective paediatric procedures. Over the past 12 years, it has benefited more than 1,600 children and their families at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. The initiative is now expanding to Tygerberg Hospital to help address its backlog and reach even more children across the Western Cape.
